Places of Faith
While on the slow wane, the vast majority of kine are still believers. The aura of faith comes from two sources; faith / numbers of the current congregation and the historical legacy of previous users. An old medieval church now devoid of worshippers still carries the centuries of now dead believers in it's very walls and ground; even if the church was demolished, it's aura would remain, though slowly fading away.
If your characters do the following, you must inform me before doing it:
- Entering any religious building that is over 200 years old. [even if now defunct]
- Entering any religious building which has an active congregation and preacher.
- Going within fifty metres of Norwich Cathedral or the park it is in.
- Going within twenty metres of any religious building that is over 500 years old. [even if now defunct]
Naturally, as British Kindred, your characters would be familiar with this issue. They may habitually skirt around the old Norman church which now sits in a suburb of the city, or avoid a park because it was once the site of a monastery. If they pass smaller or newer religious buildings, they will feel a distinct unease, as if their very bodies were reminding them that they should not exist. If your character is anyway different to this reaction or the above rules, I will tell you.
